Laura’s guys are taking a break !!
Thank you all for a wonderful Christmas season. So many of you commented on how great the store looked and we were certainly proud of it.
We’re off to a furniture show and a gift show both in January and we’ve decided to take a little holiday as well.
So we will be closing the store from Friday January 22nd to the 29th inclusive and reopening Saturday January 30.
When we reopen, we will begin to restock with some new items and new furniture from Rowe which should arrive by then. Bob is going to patch and paint some walls and we will spruce things up a bit. As you know, Valentine’s, Easter and then Spring will all arrive one after the other and we need to be ready!!
For now, enjoy 60% off on Christmas items sale continues and other selected items are up to 35% off - and right now our Clearance Room is 75% off. There’s not much left but it certainly is a bargain!

Spring Has Sprung !!
Our ever popular Carmelized Onion Confit from Brickstone has some competition from some new treats - we now carry a new Carmelized Onion with Blood Oranges – like the original but with a sweet orange flavour.
Brickstone has a new line of Burger Toppers including Tomato and Kalimala Olive, Roasted Pepper and Shiitake Teriyaki. Spread these on your BBQ burgers for a unique treat. Our sauces include Smoky BBQ Grilling and Sassy Teriyaki and our new line of meat rubs – Grilling Mania and Peppercorn Thyme. We’ve decorated and added all the glitter and glamour that we could find for Christmas and we’re ready to show you what we have in store for you.
Come to Laura’s Corner for our annual Christmas party on Wednesday, November 5 from 7 PM to 10 PM. We’ll have live music, gourmet treats, chocolates, wine from Perrault Winery, and a draw for 3 great prizes. Our first prize this year is a complete Brunelli bedroom ensemble valued at well over $350 including a quilt, shams and draperies for a beautiful night’s sleep. Don’t forget to leave out milk and cookies for Santa!!
Our theme this year is traditional Christmas with decorating ideas and quaint gifts for all. We also have a special “whimsical” Christmas room this year featuring oversized decorations like cupcakes and candies for your tree. It’s receiving rave reviews!! We even have lobster ornaments for that special Maritime friend!

Can you believe, Bob and I have been official owners of Laura's Corner for a year now?
We've had a wonderful time getting to know our clients and making new friends at the store. There have been some challenges and lots of things to learn but we're finding out every day about how to serve you better. We always appreciate your input and have tremendous feedback on the store and our choice of merchandise. Mary Ellen and her husband Mike have helped us tremendously in making the store look great and keeping things working well - we couldn't have done it without them.
Now we want to thank YOU! In celebration of July 23 we're having a 23% off sale on nearly all items* for one day only. Join us on our anniversay for extended hours - 10AM until 8PM - we're serving cake and lemonade at 6PM.
